Slytherin is my actual house, and the fact that people assume that we're all jerks and we can't be friends with people in other houses pisses me off SOOO much. It's stereotyping and really dumb. @Mecca Ol' Voldie tried using the Killing Curse on Harry as a baby, hence the scar. Actually, that little fact is kind of the main point which the entire story REVOLVES around, how the HELL didn't you realize that? And in the last book (Assuming most people reading this comment have read it) Harry lets Voldie kill him again, but instead of dying, the horcrux of Voldemort inside of Harry died, and Harry himself stayed alive. So yes, Harry died twice, and came back both times.

Harry died once.... Voldie used the Avada Kedavra (Killing curse) on Harry but he ended up giving him a horcrux (a piece of himself) because Lily (his mum) used a spell of which I do not remember to protect but in turn, got herself killed. Voldie tried killing Harry twice, and failed both times. He was momentarily dead as the horcrux left his body. But yeah he didn't die twice. And f*ck you, we got Snape.
