@Steph WOULD YOU RATHER Be awake during spine surgery and hear the bones crunching. Are these all failed ruses or do people really have to justify fake decisions?

My broken arm was twisted back into place when I fell from a tree. Yes, it was painfull.
Simone Moore
I don't know about you guys. But bone crunching sounds AWESOME.
thisisjane
It doesn't say anything about not being numb (think of dental operations or just giving birth ). So it's better to have a broken arm rather than having to go through a spinal surgery.
Zach
It also doesn't say it's your surgery
Nick DaBombDiggity
actually yes it does.
Nick DaBombDiggity

Either way would be painful.
Mossy
They never said you'd have no anesthetic...
Doug
great point, the arm thing would probably be faster, and i just like the idea of my arm being worked on more than my spine... that just creeps me out
Diggler
Mossy, all the more reason to choose the arm.
Stephon Uidenich
Even though you'd have anesthetic your body would've been experiencing the nocebo affect.
Lianna Rai

Being awake during surgery you might move. Not okay.
Scott Waterland
some of these questions are really fucked up
Daniel Maisel
I have relocated my own knee cap so I dont think a relocated arm would hurt to much worse
TylerJ
Eh, it's pretty rare that they give you a general anesthetic for a broken arm anyway.
HuntertheNinja7766
No. 2 would be like Far Cry.
Paul Bakey
I've been through the arm one asleep but I could still feel it a little
ShadowlandsProd
I'm pretty sure crunching bones isn't a good thing
Boss
if it WERE me, i'd be getting something back into place instead of getting the most important bone broken
lk5t
either way it's extremely painful, and I agree and hope that it wouldn't be me in the surgery or with a broken arm...
Divinity
hopefully more painful
hersh33
The second one happened to me but I didn't feel it

I think that would actually be pretty cool...so long as I couldn't feel it...
OktoberStorm
As long as the sedatives work I have no problems with that.
brett1337

If bones are crunching, they are doing it VERY wrong. Spinal surgery is extremely delicate.
WolfGirlKate
At least I won't be paralyzed if i move....
Bryant
during brain and some spinal surgeries you are kept conscious because they need to see if you still can control your toes
Jack Speck
If you weren't under painkillers, the spinal surgery could kill you, I would pick broken arm.
Isabel
this has actually happened to me haha
Kayla
for the spine surgery they just said you hear the bones cracking not that you feel it
Andrew Sileira
I choose arm cause it would be over quicker then the spine surgery
Cole Gifford
Ehhh I have felt with my arm being put back into place. Both my bones in my left arm snapped, twisted, and interlocked in one another. So I know how it feels
