singers are a dime a dozen and your work wont live on as long as a book will. once a singer dies sure they are popular and in but after a few decades people forget about you. a writer dies and if hes good enough his work could live on forever
Right talented singers aren't as common which is why they will be remembered. Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Dusty Springfield, ADELE, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder are just a few that either are or will be remembered, millions of books are published every year, it would take you five years to read just the titles of every book published in 2011.
I feel like I have a lot to say, but can't accurately express it all. I'd love to write books. Plus I'm really not all that fond of getting up in front of people anyway.

I am glad about half voted writer! I love to read. But personally, I'm a singer. I would love to not have to worry about whether I'm good.

I'd like to be good at writing but... I still hate writing. It'd be a waste to be good at it but not ever feel like doing it.
