    ... I already never leave my bedroom. I think living in my customized saferoom that has everything that I need in it is better than living 1/7th of your life with extreme muscle soreness.

    You can do a lot from your bedroom. You have your friends and loved ones come see you or just IM them, work from home, play video games, and so on. Being monolingual, I'd have a hard time interacting with anyone in China, and I doubt anyone would be willing to come see me very often. Not to mention I'm too lazy to work for 6/7 of my life.
