@Freddie Mercury All they did was play the music black people were playing for a decade and be white. They were not great innovators of music. Except for George he brought more eastern influences which was pretty innovative.

Idiotic people saying they're the most overrated band of all time, that's because they were the first of their kind, the first 4-piece band that had such a huge fanbase, the first band that broke the boundaries and introduced modern rock into the world, England was the fuckign epicenter of the ENTIRE world's culture, never underestimate what they did for music, you might not like the music they make, but at that time, it was revolutionary, you wouldn't have a lot of the music you'd have today if if weren't for the Beatles. Just because you don't know why they were so popular doesn't mean they're overrated, there's a LOT of musical history and critical acclaim behind the Beatles, so before you listen to your Lady Gaga or Lionel Richie, your Earth wind and fire or Foo Fighters, without the Beatles, we'd still get Cliff Richard's "Summer Holiday" playing on our radio.

Are you kidding me? Sure it's awesome to get to watch The Beatles perform at their prime, but 7 years of following them in concerts constantly would eventually get old (and could make you practically deaf with all those decibels pounding at your ear drums). Bringing them back to life in the present would still mean being able to appreciate their past albums, PLUS having them make new ones. Win-win.

The red option wouldn't be possible. They stopped touring in 1966, and they pretty much were broken up in 1969. Let It Be was recorded before Abbey Road, and Abbey Road was released in 1969.(Let It Be in 70)
