Just don't eat sugar and you can last a lifetime.

sugar is not the worst thing for your teeth btw, potato starch is. but stop eating both and it won't stop your teeth decaying...

It wouldn't be so bad if you stayed away from sugary things (especially soft drinks) since they're the biggest cause of tooth decay. That said, I'd still rather not have to worry about it.

The downside with baths is that you're basically lying in your own filth because it doesn't go anywhere until you pull the plug.

if you don't wash for a month... apart from maybe relationships, no real permanent damage... but not cleaning you're teeth... you're going to need dentures

I know multiple people who rarely brush their teeth. Many of these same people have never even had a cavity.

    • 4

I brush my teeth whenever I remember which is like once a week, occasionally i'll go through a period where I do it every day but thats rare...I've never had a cavity and i've definitely been a month without brushing my teeth at some point. I don't really know why I chose shower...o_O

I've hears that after a week or so the body takes care of the odor and turns it into a rather pleasant smell, not sure if its true though

I can handle not taking a shower for a month. At least I will not smell as bad as my breath (after a month of non-brushing)

  • 1

You can stop brushing your teeth for a month with next to no harm done to your teeth if you eat and drink properly during that time period. Also, there are other ways to keep your mouth clean than brushing your teeth through mouthwash, flossing, etc. There isn't an equally effective alternative for showering. Swimming may help a little, but it's definitely still going to be noticeable that you haven't showered.
