One of these involves a quick death.
ForgedSteele
While the other is a slow and extremely painful death.
Synestir
theyre both quick, actually(youll implode from change in airpressure in a short amount of time), one just leaves a mark on the ground for others to clean up
Sameog
You can't go diving alone, so just share oxygen with your partner as you swim to the surface.
DeathTheKid
Tiny bungee onto trampoline LOOPHOLES FTW
john117
i finally get to find out if its true that you blackout before you hit the ground
FuckYou
your imbillical cord......
DaBomb23
what if the cord snaps when your so close to the ground you will only get a bruise and it didnt say how high you were bungee jumping js
hmlzg
you could just fall in deep water
canadice
At least you'd have more fun.
Jacob Storms
Yeah but with the diving you have a chance of swimming back to surface if you bungie jump and the cord breaks your dead
Kendall Walls
not if you're over water
Aaron Jacob Gerbert
@Jacob You'd explode.
ZeSpyCrab
@Aaron Jacob *Implode
Seth Attaway
Jacob, DEEP sea diving.
WilhelmDokiDoki
You wouldn't implode, you would just develop decompression sickness.
Olivia BeepBoop Evan
If you got down there to run out of oxygen then you have to assume you haven't yet been killed by pressure. If you ran out of oxygen you wouldn't drown because you're still breathing from the now empty oxygen tank. You would fall asleep from lack of oxygen and die painlessly. You'd still be inhaling from the tank but it would not be oxygenated, just nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
gollumetBarty
Actually no you can't. Ever heard of the steps you need to fullfill to go back to the surface when you're deep sea diving ? They take hours.
xXB4XYXx
@Aaron no you wouldn't, the pressure would cause you to become unconscious and then drown. @Jacob, if you go up too quickly the pressure change will knock you out
CaKeS
@Kendall depends how high, hitting water from a high enough jump can be like smashing into concrete when you hit it because of surface tension
AirCon130
@xXB4XYXx the pressure at that depth would cause your lungs to collapse without oxygen. The pressure change from that depth would kill you.
zombiethoughts
The cord could also snap just shy of the return upwards, making the fall much less perilous.

As a diver, i at least know that i have a chance of survival. Oxygen tanks don't 'suddenly run out'...it's pretty gradual. When it starts getting a little difficult to breathe, that means i have about 10 good gulps of air left. ASCEEEEEEND!!! and try not to die by the bends...
[deleted]
The question doesn't say have your oxygen tank run out gradually. It says run out. You don't get the choice.
Jonneh
If you are deep sea diving, the bend'll definitely kill you. The thing is, unless you are an idiot, you will have brought a friend and you can share air as you slowly ascend.
Seth Attaway
Damn you jonneh thats a good point. Now I wish I could switch.
Rythmbot
Dude, F*CK drowning
Tom
there is a buddy system when diving so you would get your partners spare chord and breathe through that until you get to the surface.
Crusharush
What if it snapped at the very bottom at its slowest and lowest point? HAHAHAHA
JNmeister
Exactly.
zombiethoughts
Yup.
Xiip
Take off the backpack and rip it open with my teeth and hold onto the strings for dear life, at least have some sort of quick reaction solution to maybe save the day. x)
Levi Kolkind
Buddy system with diving your partner should have enough or with deep sea diving you could head into the decompression chamber
FreezingFire
never said when the cord had to snap I wasn't one inch from the ground, Loopholes FTW
Andrea
at least the moment you realize the cord span you're dead
cpt sparrow
doesn't say how deep you are when it runs out i could be 5 feet from the surface on my way back up :P
Alex Janisse
You're really bending this. It's like saying the cord snapped before you jumped.
xereeto
WHEEEEEE!!
Pvision13
At least u have a change of surviving in the water
D'vaughn Clarke
you could survive with the water...
ಠ_ಠ
you could survive with the bungee jump
Jacob
higher chance of survival
Bronson
Morgan No not really because the cord wouldn't snap until tension was place on the rope therefore decreasing the amount of force and speed you are falling at, it's the same thing as a harness, they have a tear away section above the lanyard that rips away after falling a certain distance (fall arrest check it out)
Nyancat:3
It doesnt say how deep u would b
air_0600
1cm bungee
Kimberly Souravong
Let's hope I land in the water.

Death by drowning is worse than a quick splat.
Bryan Sodenkamp
well if the oxygen runs iut then you slowly fall asleep and die without any pain. so yeah that seems like a good option
RealityWarping
Why must I suffer in such, deep, scary places when I can have a little fun before I die? I'm more scared of depth than I am of height.
Dragneel
Doesn't say i wont survive. If i don't, it'd be a quick death though.
pastalad
I have a mortal fear of suffocating, so bungee jumping it is. Most of them are over water anyway.
jedgar
This means a chance of survival. With the blue option, you will die no matter what.
connar lowe
ill only bungee jump off a bridge with water underneath so i wouldnt die
ZeSpyCrab
Water doesn't soften a fall from high enough up
Bboybren
There could be water under where you're bungee jumping ^-^
Bill Maynard
I'm a fast swimmer.
TobiasDominik
since I'd never be bungie jumping from more than a few feet....lol
KjKrazyLoco
If youre bungee jumping over a lake, you're fine.
Jean-Claude Jaquetti
Adrenaline would be flowing. Dead before I know it.
hailz1121
Maybe you are coming back up so you just need to swim up
Adyman
Bungee jump into water would be fine... but if it was on the ground I would pick blue
rtaylor5685
Over water
Kevin
But what's at the bottom also how high are u
Walrus
People only go diving in pairs. So just share air until you're at the surface
iHatePeople
Regulations state when deep sea diving, you must having a diving buddy who is required to carry a spare rebreather. My grandfather was on a cruise and if it weren't for his wife, he would've been sleepin wit da fishes. (Pun intended)

Well guys, I guess I should tell you where the buried treasure is......it's in the......hgnnn annngh *gasp*....... *oxygen tank runs out*
iHertzKnight
I could fall on to a trampoline after it snaps one foot above it.
Elijah Hines
In the army marines they do teach you what to do when you run out of oxygen in deep water you can buddy berth which is just sharing that tank with the person next to you
Elijah Hines
Would you have a partner for scuba cause if you do you can partner breath to the top
LordCatnip
Shorter Death
Mayne
Bungee jump above a lake?
Francis Lopata
I came into this world because of broken rubber and Im going out because of it
Divinity
could hold my breaht long enough to swim back up :D .....seriously this was easy XD
Slate
Maybe i was near the ground. Snap! Oop, just a scratch.
MishyMish
Bring Lays.
Desira
If ur bong.. jumping off of a brig.. and ur cord stnapes u can brack ur neck or get hurt in some kind of way.
mitchell
And you can swim
Andrea
