Gandalf never came back to life, because he never died. He fought Balrog, NEARLY died then came back to the surface of middle earth. Also Dumbledore has a spell that he shouldn't use but can that can instantly kill people, Gandalf does not.

If killed in battle, his spirit is given life again. He can't be killed unless he either joins Sauron, or defeats Sauron. If he defeats Sauron, he no longer has usefulness in the world and eventually Eru will take back his spirit. If he joins Sauron, Eru gives up on him and his mortal, thought cannot die of age.
