then i guess the biggest mistake in your life would be going back in time to get an equation named after you, so you're life would be completely the same

Go back in time and potentially change the future dramatically or create a paradox? SURE! Why the fuck not? I'd rather not answer either one but everything in my past makes me who I am so I choose the red one

Mistakes are what make us who we are.. If we changed it, the whole course of our lives could change for the better, or worse. Lol, jks. I just want an equation named after me.

Too easy. Having your name on the Pythagorean Theorem would mean nothing to anyone, except some mild excitement you alone will feel. Everyone else will be sure you were named after a mathematician, which means absolutely nothing. Hell, I know a guy named Pythagoras, and it really makes no difference. At least correcting a mistake would have some usefulness in your life. Changing the Pythagorean Theorem to your name has the same outcome as being named Pythagoras.

If your sole purpose was Togo back I time to fix a mistake, then that mistake wouldn't exist after you fixed it. Therefore, in the new timeline, there wouldn't even be a need for you to go back in time. Meaning you wouldn't need to fix the mistake that never was.

Everyone wants to correct their biggest mistake, but think about how it would alter the future. It may alter it in a good way, but there's always that chance that it could screw up your life forever. By making said mistake, you learned from it. By correcting it, you wouldn't have really gained anything from it and you would go on living feeling like you could go and correct anything that you did, therefore you would keep making stupid mistakes. But that's just my assumption. And having an equation named after you would be totally badass~
