Consoles only get updated every once in a while, while computer hardware constantly improves. Game performance is better, modding is better, prices are much better (steam sale anyone?) fuck consoles, although it is easier for when playing with friends at your house

Dev support is way stronger on the consoles at the moment and im sure it will be by the time i pass. PC's can be a major pain in the ass. More so than consoles. You have to do homework to get the best out of a PC. For a console you just see what games are out and buy it. PC's also harbor Digital Distribution the most, which will be the death of the gaming industry if it continues to be prominent.

@Steven Ray The Pokemon games have all been made for consoles and hand-held devices, so you would not be allowed to play those games, as they weren't intended for PC use.

Worst thing to ever happen to the PC gaming industry IMO, steam and all other services like it can go burn in the deepest pits of hell. I have no reason for the hate, I just hate it, and because of it, I buy the game, but never install it on my PC. I download the torrent so I don't have to use that shitty system.

You can't use uTorrent on a XBox. You can't use Steam on a Wii. You can't use game mods on a PlayStation 3. And consoles can be less powerful than your ordinary patchwork computer. Not to mention our games aren't locked at 30 FPS and lots of them have fully customizable options for a better experience. On a lot of games I like to change the FOV, another thing you can't really do on consoles.
