They both seem like classics, and neither of them are that old, Goldeneye is from 98 and halo is from 01 so you cant really say go with the classics because to me it seems like they are both classic. And halo is alot more fun (have both games)

Goldeneye = Nostalgia and possible relevance to a childhood, however the gaming experience would quickly get boring. Halo = A more engaging gaming experience, albeit a bit repetitive.

Goldeneye was my favorite game back in the day. but im assuming that i can play halo on xbox live. it would get boring just playing the Goldeneye campaign or the same people over and over again on the N64

Don't assume that. Halo didn't have Xbox Live. The closest thing is using X-link Kai, but then you have to mod your Xbox and always have a computer nearby. Plus, the connection is unstable and not worth it.
