@LordMackarl, you don't have to like Ellen, but you also don't have to put her down. She involves her audience and gets you excited and laughing. You and I both know that's not all she does. I've actually been to one of her shows. Yep. And she is wonderful. My niece came and fell over and broke her wrist. SHE HELPED HER PERSONALLY!!! She was on the show too. Sophia-Grace is her name.

You show me a funny comedienne and I'll show you a woman with 1 funny joke in her entire hour-long special that you mindlessly repeat and say "OMG! SHE'S SO FUNNEH!!!" Anjelah Johnson has been getting by off of the same racist Vietnamese Nail Salon schtick for 5 years now. Kathy Griffin carved a niche acting like the real life version of the "Cathy" comic strip (which is also not funny). Lisa Lampenelli decided to pull a Jonah Hill/Drew Carrey and lose weight to be taken more seriously, which means she decided to not make fun of herself anymore, which means she's not as funny. Amy Schumer had promise, but quickly fell into the "Penises are weird and my vagina is like it's own person, isn't that funny?" stereotype that Whitney Cummings tried, and failed miserably, to make a career off of. I'll end my rant with this: I'd gladly throw all of them into a firey pit in front of their families if it meant we got to have just 2 more hours of George Carlin.
