indeed.epidural is just pain med so why the hell did you vote to have a child burst out and kill you over some drugs??

You really think natural childbirth results in your death? How the hell are humans still around then?

    • 6

death has no limit, you can still die, drugged or not from childbirth if the doctors aren't prepared for every logical event

errrr excessive pain can cause a heart attack which can lead to death..which is obvious...which is one reason epidurals and pain meds are used. If pain was JUST a feeling, doctors wouldn't give it out, it(meds) does have its cons

I'll take the drugs thanks - chances are if/when I have kids I'll have twins and if I did that with no pain meds I would probably die.

Natural childbirth is proven to ensure a much closer bond with your baby, actually.

You'd never know the joy that comes with having a child. You would just die with no lineage to take your place.

Childbirth in movies is nothing like real childbirth. It is much harder. Most of those women have never even had children.

As opposed to real childbirth, which is like a sunset in Venice. Is that what you're saying?

research epidural before you choose natural childbirth.

Clearly the half that want a natural child birth are mostly men.

Not true, I have had a child naturally and wouldn't go near pain meds. Well I would if I wanted my vagina ripped to shreds cause I can't feel it

You bond better with the young, and are more intact without forced labor and epidurals.

Why in hell would anyone choose natural childbirth? It's like going into surgery and turning down the anesthetic. You're CHOOSING to feel pain for no discernible reason, weirdos.

Epidural is not the problem with hospital births. It's the dilaudid increasing the attention to the pain, and the synthetic oxytosin increasing the pain itself. The combination of which inhibits the hormones that are key in attaching the mother to her child.

Clearly most of the people on here haven't had children, speaking from experience natural all the way. Epis are for pussies. Also if you have an epi you can't walk afterwards, sucks to be you. If you can't handle the pain, don't have children.. Simple.

I have watched you comment on several point in this and you really need to stop being so judgemental of everyone. Why should someone have to go through pain that can be avoided just so they can match your standards? Why should they give up decades of joy because they can't handle hours of pain? Did you ever have your mouth numbed for dental surgery? Well no, you deserve fucked up teeth becayse you couldn't take the pain and are unworthy of the prize of proper teeth. You cunt.

Wait, why would you want an epidural? It means something has gone wrong and your child can't get out of you naturally. I would like to avoid that stress while already having the stress of getting a baby.

I've had 3 kids, 1 natural & 2 epidurals. You can't really predict what's going to happen in labor & delivery...when my goddaughter was born, her mother chose an epidural and it never kicked in!
