I don't think I'd like to meet Jesus. We would argue the whole time about religious beliefs and get into a heated battle and probably start the Apocalypse so to avoid that I'd rather ask Confucius a few good brain teasers. lol

assuming jesus was in fact a real person, i wouldn't want to meet him anyway. that would require living in a time when plagues of locusts destroyed cities and a kind and a loving god would drown the earth he created rather than reappear and deal with it.

Both instances you described were from the old testament... Jesus wasn't on the Earth until long after that. Also, there is no doubt Jesus was a real person, the argument lies with the question of divinity.

dude what the fuck. i get how you people dont belive jesus. but this is figurative. so its saying they were both real people, im pretty sure confucioud was real but, if you could pick between meeting the son of the dude who created the universe who could indefinetly asnwer any question you have, or a dude who will answer all your questions in riddles that he made up. why would you not choose jesus. people who dont believe in god have become more pushy and annoying about their beilfs then people who do belive in god. we get it. you dont believe in god. it makes no sence to you. but for the love of...well your awsome lives that you believe to have no further meaning than magically exsisting to shit all over everyones hopes and dreams. save your shit for when someone acctually wants to know your religeous beleifs.

We'll shut up about not believing in God when Christians stop stuffing your religion down everyone's throats, saying we're going to burn in hell for not believing in your imaginary friend named God.

It would prove either that Christianity is the way (I'm atheist) or that time machines DO exist. Plus, Jesus seems like a pretty cool guy to me.

If he even truly existed, I would tell the man I was from the future and explain how his teachings end up. I would give him enough information about his life and journeys that he'd have to believe me, and we could nip this thing (Christianity & Islam) in the bud before it ever gets started... and create a paradox at the same time, which probably ends the world.

And this is not for any soppy reason that I'd want to meet Jesus. Ideally, I'd be myself, as I am now, and I would sit him down and beg him to state, for the record, how he really feels about homosexuality, wars in his name, on and on. Basically all the issues Christians claim they know exactly what Jesus thinks about them, but he never states anything definitive one way or the other anywhere in scripture. If he refused, I'd know my decision not to follow him was sound, and I'd be at peace with it.
