I think if you did enough cameos, people would eventually start recognizing you as that guy that keeps popping up in their favorite movies, and you could become somewhat rich/famous. But soap operas.... well, name one actor who got their start from a soap opera. Ok, there are probably plenty of actors who got their start from soap operas, but what about GOOD actors? And if there are any, how prideful do you think they are of their soap opera days?

granted Soap Opera's have a smaller audience and dying out. But it's a more personal job and it pays more.
