Even if I was the guy in Groundhog Day, I would do whatever I want that doesn't include mass killings. Remember, you'd remember everything but other people wouldn't and they'd think you were crazy.

Having no short term memory beyond a few minutes does not seem fun at all. Reliving the same day has some serious potential, although it would get old.

that's not memento it's some other movie. in memento he can't create new long term memories i.e.-he goes through a day fine but forgets it the next day

If Memento, then everything is just in your head and you always wake up paranoid and not knowing what is going on. With Groundhog Day, you can do whatever you want without consequence and then either die or go to bed, just to wake up to a clean slate again

No one would remember any stupid stuff and there's no consequences. LISTEN. YOU COULD DO ANYTHING YOU REALLY WANTED. And so many life experiences. You could kill yourself and wake up the next day. Trying to discover who killed your wife and having things drawn on you and having short term memory doesn't sound that appealing to me.

I feel like the Memento situation would be much more fun for someone like me. Life would be a mystery with tons of puzzles to figure out, it'd be pretty awesome even if it was a burden. Plus you wouldn't have to try to remember girl's names
