It's a classic example of Sookie Stackhouse or Luke Skywalker. Being telepathic would make holding any normal relationship nearly impossible while being telekinetic would be just be badass.

Everyone is acting as if telepathy is the only way to get rich or famous. With telekinesis, you could be an athlete who controls the ball with his mind. Imagine being a soccer player and being able to put the ball exactly where you want it. You'd be unstoppable. And incredibly rich.
