AWESOME first to ever float and fly!!!!:)
Arcanis
You do realize that gravity is what's keeping all the air on earth right? also it's the only thing keeping anything in orbit like the earth around the sun. Or the moon around the earth We would first die from NO FREAKING AIR and then if anyone somehow survived and air is back, We might be too far away from the sun to have any life on earth. At least you could survive with everyone else going insane (or sacrifice yourself for the good of the earth)
Bob
Well Arcanis.. of gravity would shut off there wouldn't be a force to push away the air..also 1 day of interuppted orbit most likely wouldnt kill us. I'm to lazy to do the math but that's only a 1/365th of total orbit so i think it wouldnt do all that much
Sha5y
Arcanis, no one gives about the stupid math/science/nerdy bit of this question. All i care about is that i can float and it would be aweome
Sha5y
*awesome
Vesko
Bob and Sha5y, you are American, aren't you?
asd
Created an account to comment on your stupidity Bob and Sha5y. To keep this simple enough for a child to understand, Gravity keeps stuff together, not only on a big scale but on a small scale to. Everything i the whole universe would disintegrate the second gravity was turned off.
Flarius
Savix...no...no...The universe would not disintegrate the SECOND gravity gets turned off.
Dominic
savix...we have sent people to space...gravity does not hold our bodies together, nor does it hold things together! i beleive the earth would remain in its current shape as well! but ignore the scientific, assume everything remains normal (other than no gravity), that would be pretty sweet right?
DrumnScout16
Bob, and every idiot, If you had no gravity, every bit of our atmosphere would vanish into space, leaving us vulnerable. No, gravity doesn't hold us together, but air pressure does. People in space live in calibrated areas with enough pressure to hold us in like on Earth. On earth this pressure is made from the atmosphere, which is held by gravity. No gravity, no pressure, you would be destroyed.
David Michael Romano
Air pressure doesn't hold us together. o.O The reason that someone might die in space, with no pressure, is because without external air pressure, the air inside our bodies would expand and kill us. Gravity doesn't hold us together ether. the amount of gravity in the human body wouldn't be enough to hold ANY amount of matter together. If you were to lose gravity for a day, we would not pop, nor would the earth disintegrate. It would happen something like this: Without gravity to hold air to the surface of the earth, the gas would immediately attempt to fill the volume of its container (in this case, the universe). The condensed air close to the earths surface, being relinquished of it's gravitational tether, would rocket upwards, pushing ~65% of the air off of the planet, and leaving the surface pressure similar to the top of the Himalayas. It would immediately be very difficult to breath, and the force of the expansion of the air would pull anyone outside off of the face of the earth, to rocket into space, along with farm equipment, animals, vehicles, millions of gallons of ocean water, and anything else not firmly rooted in the ground. Everyone else would experience what seems like a massive earth quake, as the surface of the earth tries to do the same. In some places, it would, but not many. Over the course of the next 24 hours, the air still remaining on the surface of the earth would slowly dissipate into space as the planet shot off of its orbit in a more or less straight line, still spinning. The people who survived the initial expulsion would suffocate. One day with no gravity probably wouldn't do more to the obrit of the earth than cause an ice age or something, and would probably eventually be corrected, after a few million years. The people with the best hope of survival would be those few people in the Amazon or some place, where oxygen is being produced in copious amounts, though they still probably wouldn't last more than a few years, since the expulsion of so much carbon dioxide would leave the plants with little to feed on. Still, I'd rather fuck everyone than die myself, so I'm gonna go with no gravity, because it would be more interesting.
Bob
I love how the people here who say im stupid havnt got a clue of what would happen. Sure i failed, the pressure within the gasses around earth would make the air expand and thus go further into space leaving our atmosphere extremely thin. @asd you dumbfuck gravity doesnt hold things together on a small scale, that is the electro magnetic force. Gravity is one of the weaker forces in the universe and is barely noticeable on a smaller scale. The electromagnetic force is much stonger. @Drumnscout, you are also dumb as shit. Pressure doesnt kill, difference in pressure does. If we maintain our internal pressure and airpressure completetly vanishes immedietly (which it wouldnt) then we'd die
Foofiekinz
Hey bob, clearly you're an idiot. The atmosphere is made up of molecules of gas that have mass. Any object with mass is effected by gravity. Most particles in our atmosphere are too heavy to escape the pull of the Earth's gravity. If gravity was turned off, we'd die. I rather tank my chances as a martyr for the greater good. Good luck popping like bubble wrap then incinerated by harmful radiation.
Andreas Borbon Osiri
Guys... If everyone wants to kill me, I'm probably dead, but if I took the blue option, I'd have fun before dying. And no, gravity isn't the same force holding us together. It's common sense if gravity is this weak when there is a whole planet of mass then small atoms probably wouldn't be gravity. And breathing air is too mainstream!
Humam Shwaikh
Gravity is the only force holding the sun together. No gravity means the sun will explode wiping out all life on Earth in a 10 min time period.
encephalovore
Honestly if the other option weren't so god damned terrifying, I wouldn't have chosen this. Gravity off can mean two things. 1: An entire day on the vomit comet (I get motion sick). 2: WE DIE IN SPACE.
valcorwabajak
I have to assume that just your gravity is off or it's certain death but even so you would have to be careful not to just float off the earth
Whales
@Vesko please don't generalize people based on their location. There are smart Americans, too.
Ruyee Milky Waffles
So would you rather explode in space/freeze/suffocate/sucked into sun or be murdered by random people
XxxxBlack.Veil.BridesxxxX
AIR SWIM!! :D
TheCtrlAltLlama
Idiot.
Turchx
Without gravity, the sun would essentially expand and engulf the earth not to mention that the galaxy would fall apart and all stars would disappate, killing any life in the entire universe
VViP30U7
You're being too realistic
Dmitri Robinov
They mean gravity on earth. You are taking something that really didn't require a whole lot of thought. And thought the shit out of it.
deathpwnie
You're being too unrealistic. The star's wouldn't dissapate, they would all simultaneously supernova, now matter how small.
Potatomaster
This question exceeds stupidity
Unoriginal_1
90%? Do you guys know the implications of having no gravity will have? We'd be all screwed for many reasons, first to mind being leaving our orbit.
Joris Vanschoren
We all realize that (Except the ones who are from the US.), but we just think about the fun side!
Molly
@Joris Have you ever even met an American? We're aren't all idiots like non-Americans would have you believe. So why don't you just stop jumping to conclusions about an entire country? Sure, we aren't the smartest country in the world, and as an American high school student, I'll agree we don't have the best educational system in the world, but we are as intelligent as any other person from any other country. So thank you for reading and have a nice day.
Joseph Coleman
all of you realize that if gravity goes of we all die right, we ALL die
Alec Martinez
Only if it just affected me.
Jaysus
Gravity isn't the only force in the universe, besides, gravity exists because of mass, so to eliminate gravity there would have to be no mass and without mass gravity would have no effect anyway, so ultimately, this either creates a causality loop, or I've confused myself..
Sebastian
Sounds like Apocalypse Friday. I let see who understands that reference.
T.P.N
*puts headset on, and begins to play heavy metal* "let's kill some fucker's."
CoreyH
I think people are only focusing on the gravity thing. Do you seriously want to live with a bunch of zombies?
Mr Nope
I don't believe in gravity so easy choice
Lewis
I... I just can't... How can you not believe in a scientific fact?
zenidac
They could try, but they wouldn't succeed. Oh, and without gravity everyone would die anyway.
Darien Jimmie-Rustle
I chose Blue because faggots like you take this question too seriously. Also , I hate you all.
Pakus
How is this a question???
Scarlet
How is it not?
Johnathon Mann
that doesn't make sense, because it is
Daniel Zamalin
I actually clicked the wrong asnwer, you either have a high chance of dying, or everything dies.
tony-laufeyson
Either way, I'd die. I'd rather die NOT at the hands of my best friends, who I happen to live with.
day_break
so every1 dies or i die? fuck the world.
Squeaky Juice
I can breath in space, cuz im part ninja.
God of Knowledge
I just kinda wanted an excuse to fight everybody, but yeah, I guess that whole gravity shut off killing everyone thing is a valid argument, too.
JackTheJot
If we turned gravity off, we would not only lose the atmosphere, we would be hurled into space and die.
Turchx
Without gravity, the sun would essentially expand and engulf the earth not to mention that the galaxy would fall apart and all stars would disappate, killing any life in the entire universe
Jamish
Exactly. It seems that people aren't thing about the big picture, gravity affects the entire universe.
chickedy2534
It's off for a day. I doubt one day can cause a cataclysmic deterioration of life in the ENTIRE universe.
Johnathon Roberts
without gravity earth's entire atmosphere wouldn't be able to sustain, meaning EVERYONE would die! 91% of people are idiots. The other side everyone lives but you.....selfish selfish selfish.
TheOnionCat
but you chose to shut gravity off.... :(
LOLking
Not when they are trying to kill you...
chickedy2534
Way to go, you smart cookie! Want to give a science lesson, choose the correct answer :)

Giz, gravity off means death, the air on earth is under pressure of gravity, without it the air would gloat into space

guys, you do realize that astronauts float in space BECAUSE of gravity. also, if there was no gravity then everything would travel in straight lines. 'least it's better than being raped a thousand times.
Nikke Launonen
people are stupid
CaKeS
89% of people would rather die than have a fighting chance. Dumbasses
TROLOTRON
*grabs AK47* SHIT JUST GOT REAL
kafus
So what happened when gravity turns back on? We are 50 feet up in the air and you are hurtled down to earth at high speeds breaking every bone in your body as soon as you hit the ground resulting in you death
Froggers
Every living thing would die and the Earth would destroy itself without gravity. I can assume anyone who chose the blue option failed middle school science.
thejafer
I don't think most of these people understand what gravity does. Everything would blow apart, and the universe would turn into a quickly expanding, loose soup of atoms.
Tony26
I dont think everyone realizes what NO GRAVITY means.
Violeta Ordonez
Sounds like fun.
Robert Wheatley
Either way, you probably die.
Amon
If you turn gravity off, the world ends. Gravity makes the world turn, the world would freeze and burn at the same time. Everyone would ascend to the sky and die from a lack of oxygen in the cold depth of space. I'd rather not do that and just hide.
bentim
i would be an awesome challenge killing everyone who trys to kill me
Nosfera2
If you picked blue you would die, along with everyone else, if you picked red you have a chance of survival. Plus, it says people -want- to kill you, not that they will.
Shay
Why in the HELL would anyone want the red option.
Ryan
I literally see no reason red option would be a good idea. Apparently over 6k people want very badly to be very dead.
Reed
why don't they commit suicide already
some jewish dude
the real question is whether you'd wanna die from zombies or die of lack of gravity..... theres no question. USE LOGIC PEOPLE
Lindsay
Who said they were zombies?
lovelysamantha3
I don't wanna die
ಠ_ಠ
you would still die with no gravity
xBVBxBOTDFxBVBx
Float... Or die... Float please!
ಠ_ಠ
float and die actually
Jamish
Would I rather have the entire universe lose all control and every possible living thing die, or just have myself be killed... Is that a real question?
Carlos Eduardo Fanti
well, as much as I'd love to free float... if gravity on earth was shut off we would all die in an instant =P
VViP30U7
You guys don't understand how horrible it would be for gravity to shut off... NOTHING is being held down to the ground...
Sharktoothy123
"NOOOOOOO NOT THE GUNS AND KNIFES, AHHHHHHHH" says the reds "SUCK IT, WE CAN FLY" says the blues
Snappington T Turtle
I see two options. One, I choose between a kick ass, gravity-free, floating day or death. Two, I die alone or everyone dies with me. Either way, gravity is getting turned off.
keesh
People ruin my fun
