i think you can have like, tongue surgery to fix this. much less painful and a lot less money/work to fix than an entire eye. plus no risk of going blind!
and they have speech therapy. that would work too.
Looking at either as irrepairable, I would still be able to communicate clearly. Have one good eye and well it's really only a slight case so it wouldn't be so horrible in either case.
