Never read another book
Never hear another song
No more music or no more reading.
Hey c'mon, there's nothing better than books! You can do without songs, but I can't imagine not being able to read another book.
you must be a dull guy
Malcolm X said he had never been truly free until he went to prison because that is where he learned to read.
Tom and Nathan can't read.
The I feel sorry for you. You must have a very boring life.
In all honesty, this question comes at a time where reading is not as popular as music, hence we have these idiots who think that reading means you have a boring life, this is a rather stupid comment. Apparently, literacy is not highly valued as it should be.
Books are good and all but i listen to music much more than i read (not that i don't read) but i can still listen to audio books
Nathan, Tom and Jush(?) are people that don't realize the importance of books even today. I read a lot, and sometimes over-whelm myself but you know, I GET SOMETHING OUT OF IT, rather than have possibly really loud music destroying my ear drums or filling my head with pointless lyrics. All books work your mind in both the left and right hemispheres. I love music with so much passion, but maybe that will push me to find art in another form.
OH NOES i cant read my first second book, music is SO much better than books, i have tv and games for stories butmusic is a one of a kind thing.
I don't think I would be able to live without books: And honestly, I don't really like music...
i love reading but music engulfs me everywhere. Life would be extremely silent without music
books are for nerds
who reads books anymore
what about books on tape
Without books most of our population would be uneducated...
These are the two best things in life... Reading books means gaining perspective, understanding and knowledge. And joke's on those who don't because we all know those things equal power.
But in the end, music is more important. One could also get pedantic and argue that you can read plenty of good literature without reading "books", but I don't think that's how the question was intended.
LOL I DONT EVEN READ BOOKS. But im sure the internet dosnt count as a book
I don't like music - unpopular opinion, I know
i LOVE books but i cant stop listening to TRAIN
I don't like books... i would get sad without a song in my life :(
I couldn't live without music. But there are plenty of websites and audio books to replace books.
I love to read but I CANNOT live without my music!
Indeed, listen to 1-2/week
Oh crap, now I'm reconsidering...
Music raises spirits and brings people with a similar preference or idea together.
Same with books, you just have to be a little more patient, and it's MUCH more rewarding.
May not be able to read books, but you can still read articles, comments, writings, etc. I can't live without any music, life would be much less enjoyable.
Paul... sadly it says that you can't read anything in the subtext
I need books to study
Books help you see the world (or a different world altogether) from a completely different perspective. That's why I chose them.
By far, this is the hardest question i've seen so far.
*Head explodes* No more reading or no more books?
you can still read dude
Actually in the subtext it says "No more music or no more reading."
This was an easy one to me. I'm surprised most disagree...
You know, I think I'd rather read.
If you dislike books, you probably have a low IQ.
Or we aren't boring. I have an IQ of 141, and I despise reading more than anything, unless it's reading stuff on /b/.
By the way, music is a lot more complex than reading when you make it, or when you analyze the structure, details, etc. of songs like I do.
Just because I chose never to read another book doesn't mean I dislike them. It's just I like music more.
IQ means virtually nothing, and it certainly has nothing to do with your interest in reading
I took a literacy comprehension test when I was in 8th grade and had a reading level of a college student, mind you I don't ever read. So fuck your shit.
Most music is shit now days.
Somehow causing all music ever to be shit?
Just because you're too lazy to look for good music doesn't mean it isn't there. Nobody's allowed to call any period of music entirely shit because there never was a period of entirely bad music and there never will be. There is always good and bad music.
Still, jush, knowledge is more important
people still read books!??
People over the age of fifteen do.
I don't want to live on this planet anymore (Only reason Im blue is because I accidentally picked the first one)
And people under the age of 15 also does.
People who don't appreciate how great music can be prefer books. I feel sorry for those people. I wish everybody would realize how great music is, like I did.
@mimi not everybody under the age 15 is an idiot. I was reading Stephen Hawking and Oddesy by 9
You can live another life in a book.
Wait...how do I change my vote?
One word. Audiobooks.
I can just sing the songs to myself :) i read all the time so this was an easy one.
Have fun, but you won't hear yourself.
You can listen to music and let it make you cheerful as much as you want, but there is nothing as stimulating to the mind as reading.
Anything you get from music, you can get from books...plus books enhance your brain, whereas music doesn't.
Everything about what you said is extremely wrong. I feel sorry for you. I'm not hating on books, I love books, but they do not accomplish everything that music does, nor does music accomplish everything that books do.
Listen to the album Merzbox by Merzbow. Then say that a book can cause the sensations that one gets from listening to the songs in that. And music can enhance your brain a lot if you actually analyze how it's structured and what creates it instead of just listening to the foreground while you preoccupy yourself with other activities.
call me a nerd.
I like books, but I couldn't live without music
this result makes me sad..
I love reading more thab music. Your argument is invalid
I love reading, but hey- audiobooks!
Music is the universal language!
That was to evil. i love both.
People has spoken, books are not as important as music, check the numbers above. Sorry for the book lovers. Music is part of the soul, it exist from the beginning of the human being, even animals make songs (like birds chirping) and movies like Social Network had an amazing soundtrack! Trent Reznor managed to put the feelings on it, and is not the best example i can comeup now.
its basically you wanna be blind or deaf
Um, no, it is not.
Umm... yes it is
Damn... 80% of y'all are stupid.
Get out of class assignments WOOOOOO
I need books in my life.
Either find myself magically placed in a new realm, full of unlimited possibilities? I could read textbooks, fiction, anything. Or, I could not listen to music. I love music... but books are just... too important to me.
I guess I could listen to Audiobooks... I really didn't want to give either one up, but stories can be told, songs cannot be written.
who needs books? GOOGLE BITCH >:D
I'm a writer. Books all the way.
Answering that question just killed me!
To never be able to hear such music again would be soul crushing. To never be able to listen to Beethoven, Michael Jackson or any of the millions of amazing artists out there. I love books. I love being educated by them and I love being engrossed in a story. But music you can share with others and enjoy by yourself while books are personal. Unless your in a book club discussing it which doesn't even compare to jamming out with friends. Besides the are audio books and the are teachers and videos.
Plus, writing a book can be very stressful, while making music is usually just fun. Very hard work, but very fun work.
Lol I hate reading and loovvveee music so this was the easiest question I've seen
You can always have audio books.
This may be the hardest one I've run into yet.
Well I'm in a band so my life'd be fucked if I had no music...
Same. Except I'm a solo musician.
I hate music and if I couldn't read books what would I get from book reports? D:
i don't read anyway -.-
I'm already not reading any book.
Books can be adapted into different forms of entertainment, songs on the other hand are useless without music. Reading lyrics is nowhere near as rewarding and as much of an impact as hearing the song.
this was way too hard. but audiobooks are alright i guess.
