      Yes they are venomous, but the stinger hits the inside of your throat injecting the venom upon eating... Eatting a spider, there is no way for them to bite if you chew...

      Even if the Wasp isn't alive, you'd still have to cut the stinger off. Whereas, spiders have venom Inside of them.

    Venom isn't harmful if swallowed, only if it's in your lymphatic system. Poison works by ingestion.

    Wasps don't have legs, also sqaush it and you won't notice it mixed in with other stuff.

    I'd fucking burn that meat so hard, no one would know it's spider meat. Besides, I could cut it into squares and use it for fondue.

    Neither would kill you if dead. Poisonous means it will harm if consumed where as venomous means will harm when it bites or stings.

    Guys, if you drink venom you won't die. It's only lethal if it's in your bloodstream. If you know this, then it's just the thing of preference

    Doesn't say how venomous so Im presuming the spider is a house spider or something, just a 4 inch one. Then the equivalent wasp could be really small like a grain of salt!

    You can eat venomous things fine, it doesn't enter your bloodstream... so... wasp (less than an inch, can be hidden in something) or 8 legged monstrosity which is 4 inches in circumference x.x;

    Venom doesn't harm you if it is ingested. Only if it is directly injected into the blood stream. By the time the venom would get into your blood stream by ingestion, it would already be processed by the body and completely harmless. I just picked the wasp because fuck spiders.

    The difference between venomous and poisonous: eating something venomous won't kill you. It needs to bite/sting you. Poisonous is the other way around. Wasps would hurt worse though.

      Poison is used by spiders and other things to kill them, while venom is used to numb things, when you go to the dentist and they numb your gums, that is rattlesnake venom. thats atleast what my sis told me.

    All spiders are venomous. I could eat a spider that was hardly venomous that happened to be 4 inches in circumference and be fine. People always used to tell that myth about how we eat 8 spiders in our lifetimes anyway...

    My fingers hurt thinking about the spider, so I chose the wasp.
