While the debate is rather deep, and intriguing I'd rather see how life began. It would shut up a lot of people.
deathpwnie
It's not how life began, it's how civilization began, which is simple: people started living together in large numbers and permanent dwellings.
Rythmbot
Yeah, dude. You want to know how civilization was created? Go to Wikipedia.
ossmosse
Deathpwine, you just made me realise I chose the wrong answer :/
DudeGuy
It would be boring as shit, because it took a shitton of years, of slow, building evolution of pack living.
Pixilatedpwnage
Being an atheist I feel that seeing how life was created would just be like someone telling me something I already know
Jacob
Pixilatedpwnage, you realize that every person of every belief shares that particular belief. Besides agnostics I guess.
Freq-Sho
Well deathpwnie when similar organisms were created and grouped together for survival that was that start of life and civilization. And Rythm that's what we Think happened and not fact.
Jerry Jerryson
FUCK. Wrong answer.
Pat Kr
civilization arose when people began locking up the food supply. go anywhere in the world where there is what we call " civilization " and you'll see its a recurring theme.
Josh
If you think that it would shut people up, you clearly haven't met these 'people'.....
Advance
But the creation of civilization is a billion times nicer and more heartwarming to see than the collapse of it. So you sadistic bastards would rather see thousands of people getting killed and buildings destroyed and general mayhem than a group of people working together and solving problems and learning to become friends? Yeah, when you put it that way, it seems like you made the wrong choice.
✞α†γἇиа ✌
amen to that
Niker107
I'd know if there's a god, because the bible says that god created everything, but I already know that somehow we're gonna die, maybe the sun will burnout, maybe we'll collide with an asteroid, but I think it's cooler to know how a civilization was created.
Logan
If you choose red you can prepare if needed
peace23
true that
James
Honestly my first thought was to grab snacks. *Nuke goes off* Oooh. *BOOOOM* Aww.
Schuman11
Actually DudeGuy, the ending of a civilization could also take a long time.
whatuppep
ummm god created every thing btw
33rpm
@whatuppep but how?
FredAlv
We already know how life began. Science and biological studies have shown us how the universe has led to the birth of Tellus for a course of 13.8 billion years, then how Tellus developed into a feasible planet for functioning organisms.
Wopper
deathpwine is right.
Henry McPherson
But you wouldn't have any proof and therefor people may not believe you
wartpig
@Advance. yes actually i would like to see buildings collapse and millions die. humans are a cancer
Lasht Night
*cough* Not god *cough*
IdRather
it would probably be something like "Revolution" (for anyone who hasent seen that show its all electricity is gone *so not internet!*)
FinMagotti
I chose the blue answer because if the red's answer is told to people it would cause havoc and panic all across the globe
Cait
i wouldnt want to know how civilization ended because then i'd constantly be waiting for it to happen around every corner and the anticipation would kill me.
CptHomer
Well if you knew it would end in 200.000.000 years? I don't think so...
Wopper
you wouldn't know when it ended because the question says "how"
Donny Em
THE REAPERS DESTROY CIVILIZATION!
nottie
You are lovely.
Matt
Chuch Norris is the answer to both
chuck216
just knowing would be enough. even if you couldn't tell anyone
Noob
Clearly the way we are heading now is an indicator to us ending with our own destruction...
CrabbyZain
i wanna see how it was made, i already know how its going to end..
FredAlv
Isn't this supposed to be opposite? We don't know how it's going to end, because you can't foresee the dimension we live in, whilst on the other side, biology and science has told us how Tellus developed as a result of the expanding universe for the past 13.8 billion years. Then the first organisms were created, and the civilization - which is actually the question - started somewhere in Africa with the first human being arising .
Bernt Dasbrot
Some men just wanna see the world burn.Like me

Studying the past can affect the future.
rando
i'm always sad that i won't get to see how it ends.
Brandon
How do you know?
Brandon
How do you know?
Laurence 'Lewy' Town
that's not the right attitude! You can get hold of some nukes if you put your mind to it!
Derpina
The knowledge of who created civilization is useless if there's no civilization left
ELHC
it would be interesting to see the look on most people's faces when they realize they are the reason civilization ended
FredAlv
It's actually a difficult question. The problem is that as time goes along, earth is becoming less inhabitable - for humans at least. It's not certain whether we'll create our own death or we'll be wiped out naturally, only to be replaced by other species which can function under other circumstances.
AskAnswer
If I know how it happens, I can prevent it.
TheTank
The past is going to be more mysterious then the future because it is now easier to document and record things. We really don't know if things that we BELIEVE happened in the past, definitely happened.
TheTank
At some point in time, we WILL find out what ends us.
Ethan
I'm assuming this is covering the time frame, so if I know when, then I can either not worry at all, or do all of the cool shit that I've always wanted to do.
The Law
holy shit that was deep...
remixedmag
We already have a pretty good idea of how civilization formed -- if I'm curios about the details, there are probably 100,000 history and anthropology books to choose from. How it ends I'm more curious about.
makerofdeath101
I allready know what will end us .. Posting theses comments
123EBM
see how it will be created because everyone will die eventually
NickTheEpic
I's probably be depressed if I see how civilisation ends.
Shane Tenney
Why not see what started it, if you probably won't be around for the end?
sittty
way cooler to jump into the future.
Yasmine
When I find out what started civilization, people would end civilization.
GetPwned
humans created civilization, we know that much, and history documentaries accurately predict the rest
Fullitenhund
My guess is Daleks.
Chris Danger Gillett
We already know what created civilization.
TheBeast14
What's happened has happened, deal with it... If I can see how or what ends it then I could warn people about it, and it could possibly show WHEN it ends, so I know the time is near so I can do what ever I want with no regrets!
drizzy
It would be interesting either way
Tori
That would be terrible knowing how and when youre going to die
MarkTheGr8
Depends how you define civilization I guess. Since it's most often not used to describe the beginning of life and instead describes how the civilized world came to be... I'd go with the end. Unless it's global warming that kills us within 50 years, then I will most likely not be alive to see the end. And I'm sure it'll be sad, yet awesome.
HoodHustla
I would be satisfied knowing how it ends and I'd live my life to it's extent till the end. (Plus I'd know to call in sick for that entire week)
CyborgKittenPoweh
blue. because...WHO DA FAK DOES NOT WANT TO SEE A GIANT RANDOM EXPLOSION IN SPACE CREATE A BUTTLOAD OF CRAP?!?! :D
Sinarro
I'd rather prepare for the end
Derek
I'm the kind of person who likes to make sure a story has a really sweet ending before putting time into it, sooo...
Jenelle
It's always good to know how things began and how it evolved through time.
b1tchf4ce
I don't want to know how it ends because i do know whatever it is, it will be sooo scarey!
Miss Paint
Ignorance is bliss.
Elijah De Pino
I'm already depressed enough, seeing the end of civilization would just make it worse.
SunnyCrapCake
Civilisation could just be the authors way of saying the world. And even so, who knows what happened?
Gruntley
If it's something dumb like nuclear war or a meteor, I could actively try to prevent it.
Jessie Reyna
Same thing really
SaviorSelf
There is a big importance on the word "created" in this question. Only a God can create civilization. Humans can only invent/discover/build physical objects but not create them. We use the elements that have been "created" to do this.
David S.
You mean that civilization hasn't already ended?
Rory
Doom or hope? I choose hope!
Ralathon
Civilization people not life.
jblazemalone
This actually does come down to a religious stand point( and by civilization you know they mean us in general so don't be a smartass no one likes it) if find out how it ends everyone will see as one of those wackos on history channel and it most likely will not happen in many generations. Second, if you chose how it began religiously( unless you're atheist this still counts) you teach your children and family what is correct and how they should live their lives and you will end up taking better care of your self, and even if it was started by "the big bang" (which is impossible so stop preaching it) you will still die not knowing what's on the other side of deaths door.
Karthus
I already know the answer to the first question.
m.c.popcorn101
And it started by hunter gatherers
m.c.popcorn101
