Working under the assumption that the time spent in said "big empty room" would equate roughly to the time it would take all the dying people in the other room to actually die, I suppose hanging about for a while by myself would be no different than any other day or week or month spent in large empty rooms. Unless, of course, people who choose the big empty room are left there until they are dying and promptly transferred to the room full of dying people. Conspiracy!
