A zombie relies on all 5 senses equally. The human smell can linger in an area for quite some time. Even I you had storm doors, you are looking at basic suffocation due to lack of oxygen. Considering you are breathing out carbon-dioxide that is.

Cellars dont have dirt walls they are usually pretty thick with concrete so i doubt you'd be able to dig your way out. Assuming theres a bunch of zombies just in your barn and around the front then at least you could break out of the 2nd floor walls which are made of wood and jump down and run.

If u barricade the door they will eventually get in, but if u hide in the celler they cant get you, but then u would starve to death, so the only thing to do is fight them

With being down in the cellar, it'd probably be harder for the Zombies to get in there if the door was a trapdoor kind of thing with stairs leading down. They would forget about you after a while and then move along somewhere else, and you could walk out, quietly kill any stragglers with kitchen knives, and then move along, being perfectly fine.
