I'm guessing none of you know anything about how altruism is a positive evolutionary trait, especially to close relatives, since you and your sibling share DNA! evolution is about surviving as a species rather than an individual, so what might seem stupid to an individual it might save a species. that's why ants for example are much more successful in nature than most insects, because they have complex hierarchical systems with soldiers who don't get to mate and die a lot.

I already decided that if one of my siblings and I had a limited portion of food that was running out and there was only enough for one person, I'd give it to them.
