actually they came out with something much more efficient, similar to Kinect for Xbox, which tracks your motions accurately without dirtying up the screen. So actually, touchscreens are the past... Deal with it. P.S. the wow factor was the only reason that anybody ever used a tauchscreen.

@Silver, the technology so far isn't up to it. Honestly if this change happened for everyone I can guarantee we would have decent touchscreen RTS games out in the market in 1-1/2 years. The market would adjust, just like it always has.

Touch screens are crazy durable. I've never had a touch screen break. The closest is my phone which currently features 2 large cracks in the screen (not just scratches). It still works perfectly.

Well, I use Linux so I just do everythign with a keyboard. Touchy-feely tech is overrated and mouses are inaccurate. Command-line and Keyboard launchers are faster than everythign if you have a good WPM.
