Okay 1. OCD isn't about cleanliness. It's obsessive compulsive disorder not obsessive cleanliness disorder. They could be obsessed with making sure everything is symmetrical, a certain color, facing a certain way, organized, messy. They could only worry about clean hands or clean feet for all I know. And as much as I would love to be able to say I could handle dating someone with a mental condition like that, I don't think I could handle it. So I'd have to say smoker.

Not really... My mother smoked for 16 years, then she met my step-father, threw away all her cigarettes, and she hasn't lit a single one in over 7 years. Just like that. It was horrible, even painful, at times she wanted to smash something, but after a few months, it all became normal.

64% of people don't actually know anyone with severe OCD. You could put your chain smoker outside for the smoking, but you have to adjust to someone with OCD - it's much harder to break a lifetime of psychological behavioral addiction than a drug addiction.

Depending on how severe the OCD is, what they're obsessive about, and if they are willing to get help for it if it causes any issues, I don't think that would be too bad. I have OCD about symmetry (well, more accurately balance,) and nobody I have been with or even been friends with complains. They figure if it doesn't bug me it's fine. Smoking, on the other hand, is dangerous and disgusting. 1) I love a guy with a nice voice (especially when singing.) It isn't necessary, but I don't lika le rasp. 2) I have slight asthma, and it is triggered by smoke among other things. And you never know who else has that in common, and theirs might be severe. 3) It might be just me, but I don't like the idea of having black lungs and a lessened life-span. 4) It's addictive. You don't need it. Trust me, you can find something better, like breathing technique and mind exercises to relax. Even a (bubble) bath (it's ok for guys to bathe to decrease stress) or some melatonin to help you sleep. OCD is manageable. Smoking is an addiction that can't be fixed psychologically alone.

I have asthma. It's not severe, but I have been known to have a few asthma attacks. Smoke does not help that. Plus, I'm OCD about light switches. And if their OCD becomes a problem, there's always therapy.
