while a bullet is quicker, a stab is guaranteed to be localized to a specific area, whereas a bullet does not always guarantee a straight or even regular path through the body. Even if you were stabbed through the midsection completely with a two foot long machete, the damage of a high velocity round that ricochets through your midsection is the far more lethal and painful of the two options.

Shot In the head with a sniper means you wouldn't even hear it (a sniper bullet travels faster than 770 mph (the speed of sound)(lol brackets in brackets)) so you probably wouldn't feel it either (if it killed you that is)

Actually it would do MORE damage, stab woulds can be harder to heal, and a bullet has a chance of going all the way through, making it not a huge deal.

It is actually less painful to get stabbed than shot. When you get shot that bullet will explode INSIDE of you, but if it is a clean cut and not goes in any crusial places then it wont hurt so bad and you might even be able to walk for a few minutes afterwards, before passing out due to bloodloss...
