Both solitary, both risky, both most likely causing untold long term bodily damage... Space. For the eating food out of mid-air thing.

If you spend time in space your bones deteriorate because of the lack of gravity and it basically fucks you, so have fun

rather die in space with a once in a life time experience ad a heck load of fun then die in a sub

Soge I think they found a solution to that. Something to do with exercise.

@sogeking if you excersise a lot each day (wich is possible in space), you wont have problems.

No-brainer, nobody said you wouldn't get robots rocketing you food and stuff. Also, free WiFi.

But your more likely to die in space rather than the ocean

Atleast in space you can have fun in a submarine all it is is like being in a house with no exits...

Selflicky, I think you're forgetting that, at extreme depths, it's more dangerous than in space. The difference in pressure between earth and space is, at max, on atm. Between the dep ocean and the surface, it can be dozens of atm.

    • 3

      Adrian

@Selflicky There is a higher chance of your sub breaking to the pressure than an asteroid hitting your station

this, but because it's cooler (imo) to say you spent a year in space than to say you spent a year under water. also just experiencing no gravity. living under the ocean would be same as living on land, except no going outside, and constant fear. not worth it.

IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO LIVE ALONE, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH ZERO GRAVITY than get all wet in a dark and not beatifull deep sea. (Normal sea is beatifull, but it says deep, and deep sea is just dark)

Don't forget that when this happened was never specified. This could be hundreds of years in the future when we have super advanced robots and stuff, and artificial gravity

Ever been inside a submarine? It's cramped and hot and leaky. In space, I could entertain myself for hours just by drinking water

It would be boring in space station. All you have to look at is rocks. It would be interesting to see all of the life under the sea.

only thing that made me decide is that space would be less scary, no creepy fish or sea monsters around, plus it would ALWAYS be dark outside

Deep sea life is very interesting. And you can get internet and radio connections down in the ocean. And help is faster. And you can always explore the ocean with a pressure suit and a diving kit. Spacewalking is not that cool. Not like you can meet aliens. Meeting glowing fish and amazing life under the earth is more friendly.

so you're just gonna make friends with a bunch of fish, some of which will try to kill you, in pitch black dark? Plus, you wouldn't be able to meet fish, you have to stay in the submarine

I'd rather not have every muscle in my body atrophy. If you spent a year in zero gravity you would look as skinny as a holocaust victim by the time you got back to earth.

    • 2

      Kevin Kirkpatrick

If you're alone and you have nothing else to do you'd probably find enough time to exercise away atrophy.
