Burn to death
I think drowning would be a lot less painful.
3rd degree burns don't hurt until afterwards, because the nerves are completely destroyed. Survivors do say that recovery is extremely painful, but with this, it's kind of a non-issue.
been burnt really badly and I can attest to not feeling anything till way after.
haven't you ever accidentally gotten water up your nose or something? imagine that, but way worse.
Drowning actually would hurt like a bitch. Your lungs collapse and that doesn't exactly feel good
i think when you drown you die slower and you wont be burnt
It'd be kind of a dick move but you could do something cool while on fire. Walk calmly into the middle of the road "This is but a start. your world will burn in three days! *death*
If youve ever smelt humen skin burning it would change your mind, as well as your sufacating, being roasted alive, screaming for death to come, your blood will be literally burning, yes your nerves will die adventulay... But you will be wishing for death long be for that happens. Burning to death is the second worst what to die, second only to dieing in the vacume of space
@ Akcrumley there is no hope for your grammar -__-"
Drowning is okay, as long as you hold your breath as long as possible. I did drown, and died, but had CPR
I'm dead afraid of water
I know a guy that nearly drowned and he said it was quite peaceful once he stopped struggling but obviously he got saved because he managed to tell me aha
A lot less painful.
Burning "to death" is actually the most painful and longest death a person can have. You don't die from the burns. You die from the suffocation.
Wrong you have to go through 2 minutes of holding your breath then 2 more minutes of water filling your lungs as you struggle then you pass out
Well, when you burn to death you dont actualy die from burning or smth. But you die from the smoke you breath in when you'r burning which is the cause of death becouse you dont get air but smoke. So I dont realy know what tho chose..
Supposedly drowning is very comfortable after you get passed the painful choking.
But you choke either way. Smoke or water.
Drowning is too painful
who said you had to die drowning
Doesn't matter. You're dead in the end anyway.
It not the pain its the panic which is worst
@akcrumley. youtube search "what happens to your body in space" everything in the movies is false. you dont insta freeze or explode. the air get sucked out of your lungs but the body is a sealed unit so nothing but air escapes. then you pass out in 15sec. you die from no air. you cant freeze cause heat must travel into something else to be lost. nothing in space to do that. thats how wind works btw. the worst is the capalaries in your eyes burst but its not that bad and can heal if you lived. an accident happened and a man survived being exposed to the vacume of space. and water has no preassure on it so its boiling point is lowered. the last thing the man experienced was his saliva boiling on his tounge before he passed out. The More You Know
oh to further explain the heat thing. you can NOT add cold, only remove heat. its just how it works. research it. cold dose not exist, only lack of heat
You would go unconscious very quickly and feel virtually no pain.
drowning is my worst fear, im terrified of boats
Have you ever been choked before? Drowning would be a horrible death
People, it says burn to death, not suffocate to death.
So this means that you would not die from the smoke but from your actual body being on fire.
And burning to death is way more painfull.
One minute of drowning and you pass out but when you burn it can take hours.
If it takes long enough then your blood will start to boil which would make it so that your intestants could explode.
This is not something you would want to happen.
Your bones would also crack from the sheer heat.
@xCODvict Drowning and being choked are very different.
Being choked cuts of the air flow immediately which makes it more painfull.
Because you can hold your breath for a while underwater you can be a little bit more prepared and therefore it wouldn't be as bad as being strangled to death.
Why is everyone concerned about pain? You're gonna die. I prefer to drown cos it's not so gruesome
and CPR saves you after you drowned
You'd have to be retarded if you think drowning is the better choice.
You'd have to be retarded to think burning was the better choice.
How does thinking drowning is a better way to die make you a retard? From what I've heard drowning is meant to be peaceful and burning is the most painful way to die
been there, done that.
drowning is worst way to die
How have you been there and done that? You mean to tell me you're dead? :P
Drowning isn't that bad, if you hold your breath until you almost pass out, it actually relaxing. I drowned at age 8, but a lifeguard preformed CPR, saving me.
If I were drowning I would probably lose consciousness due to lack of oxygen and then die but if I were burning to death I would feel every moment of it until I die. Which sounds better to you?
If you have ever been burned really bad, like 3rd degree, there is no question. Unfortunately, I know from personal experience.
@risg19 totally based on evidence.
your lungs are crushed with drowning. You'd pass out from smoke before there was that much pain.
depends on the situation with the fire
If it was outside then you probably wouldn't pass out.
Being burned at a stake is designed to keep you conscious so if it was that then it would be horrible.
Id actually rather drown in water where the top of the water is on fire
If the fire is hot enough you don't feel anything
Burning to death is the most painfull way to die.....
so i would rather have my longs filled with liquid thanks :D
I only want to be burnt at the stake accused of witchcraft and heresy. It would be cool to make scene.
The problem with this question is that the information is incomplete In most cases a person burning to death suffocates on the smoke of there burning flesh and the person drowning suffocates on water, so the quest is really do you want to be identifiable when you're found/buried...
you burn until your nerves are done. the burning sensation that comes with drowning would be far worse (imo) than any flame
I have a fear of drowning so easy choice here
I REAAALLLY did not want to pick either.
Patients who have almost drowned have said that the feeling of water going into their lungs is like a searing burning sensation, whereas burns don't feel anything til the nerve recover afterwards, which they won't if dead, also if you drown you panic and even though it's quicker, it's a lot more stressful
its in jews blood lol jk those family trees were stopped
If I get burned to death my whole body would be destroyed but if I drown someone could find me and maybe revive me. Perhaps I am still in a good shape.
From what I hear, drowning is one of the most frightening and painful experiences imaginable. Even more so than burning to death. So, I think I'm gonna go with burning to death.
drowning is apparently soothing; like a dream. i'd rather that than screaming as my flesh is scorching. plus, i think the coolness of a pool would be sort of relaxing as you died..
Can't swim? No problem.
So I either choke to death on water in water or choke to death on smoke while on fire. Gee this is tough. Jk
Once you pass all the pain, death would actually feel peaceful near the end
Ever stuck your face in the bathtub when u were a kid to see how long you could hold your breath and your chest would start pounding and then u would come up for air. Imagine by being able to and going through that phase for like 5 minutes
Shouldn't the colors be the other way round ?
My funeral, I want to look decent..
which is quicker?
The question here seems to be more occupational. Would you rather face the fate of a firefighter or a sailor? Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me, we pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot, drink up, me 'earties, yo ho!
When you drown you go unconscious after about the first 15 seconds because there isn't enough oxygen getting to your brain so clearly drowning is the superior option.
That's a tough one.
While you're burning you can jump off a cliff! :D
you would pass out if were drowning, so you dont feel anything
It's instant cremation. :)))
I almost drowned once, it sucked.
When you're burning it takes 10 minutes for you to stop feeling and 15 to die, but those 10 minutes are the longest and most painfull 10 minutes of your life, unlike that, drowning is like choking, there's no pain, but fear.
To burn to death makes only 10 minutes the longest and most painfull 10 minutes of your life.
Depends if you wish to die. If you do wish to commit suicide drowning is good, ittl let you rethink the moments of your life. if not, brian must die
Anyone that says a burn doesntmhurt till after gtfo. I have a freaking huge horrible scar on my arm cause a burn and it hurt the second the incident happened. I'd rather drown
Hold your breath until you pass out. When you're unconscious, you will start to breath in water and then you'll drown.
This can't actually happen, survival instincts will kick in and your body will force you to take a breath.
Drowning is horrid.
I can't stand heat.
Due to a previous question I answered, I have a resistance to fire and cannot burn to death.
There is this cool feeling when everything is beatifull... And there's no rush to anywhere... You have all the time in the world... Brb goin' to swim.
Cool feeling? You are thrashing around in the water whilst your lungs slowly fill with water and eventually collapse as you try to find air.
From someone who has been burned, take it from me that drowning is worse
Hell no, burning is A LOT better because it takes a while to feel it AND it is quick, unlike drowning you can feel yourself losing air and dieing a horrible long death.
Drowning is actually rather violent. When you start breathing in water your lungs burn really, really bad. Then, your body convulses violently. Drowning is in no way peaceful.
They say that when you drown you start to hallucinate before you die due to maybe a shortage of oxygen or something I don't remember why, but can you imagine how cool it would be to hallucinate under water!!! That would be a cool psychedelic way to die.
I can't swim
i've always had a fear of drowning but if i had to choose, i would rather drown then burn haha
Human Torch for the last moments of your life
so just putting this out there being burnt to death doesnt kill you the lack of oxygen when your lungs/airpipe melts kills you so yea... i'll drown fuckers have once before so yea
