I strongly agree with Valduck17. Abraham Lincoln had come to the end of his chain, and had already done so much for the country. I believe it was the perfect time for him to go, because it left an even greater impact as he left. J.F.K, as one said, only got in the books for being assassinated. So maybe he could've done something a little more spectacular in his time as President?
