At least you have a chance to salvage your foot if it gets bitten by a lion.

The lion probably isn't going to stop with just one foot.

Elephants walk on their toes, and are actually very light on their feet.

But if it gets bitten by a lion it will not stop until you die, they're carnivores and with rip you and your foot to shreds but the elephant would do it on accident and most likely would continue to hurt you unless frightened

And if a 3 or 4 ton animal steped on your foot its basically like having your foot ran over by a trian and even if your foot got bitten compleatly off by lion the pain would not be as bad as being steped on plus you couldnt just ware steel toe boots because the metal would bend and cut your toes off

I'm pretty sure that my foot would be ALOT easier to heal if it only got bitten. Besides, it never said how old the lion was.

Wow really, squishy. Do you know how heavy they weigh? Even a young elephat would weigh a ton. All the bones in your foot would be completely crushed. If you think that is less painful/long-term than the lion bite you are crazy. With the lion bite at least your foot would heal, but the elephant? No cure. Better start looking for deals on prosthetic feet.

the amount of psi from being steeped on by an elephant is less than that of being steeped on by a woman wearing 8 in stilettos

Elephants have padded feet to walk normally. The pressure wouldn't be that great at all.

  • 2

the lion would give you scars... the elephant would crush all the bones, making it impossible to heal.

Actually an elephant steps very lightly, and they have padding on there feet. I know because one steeped on my foot once it was an adult so he was full grown it wasn't terrible wasn't even bad enough to make my foot swell what so ever.

Elephants have four large feet to distribute the weight over a large area, besides, I've had a two tonne landrover drive over my foot and it didn't hurt too much, an elephant would be tolerable.

  • 1

The lion is a much cooler story.

  • 1

    Travis

There are two fairly simple reasons the elephant is better. A crushing injury almost always causes less damage than than a grinding/shearing type of injury. I work in surgery and see a lot of both mind you. Secondly, an elephant is soft footed animal. They are made for walking through the jungle and the desert. Elephant trainers get their feet stepped on all the time and are rarely injured.

You guys are stupid. If you get bitten by a lion, there is little chance of saving it. This is a fucking lion we are talking about, not some domesticated cat. An elephant, on the other hand, is like getting your foot run over by a truck. There might be a chance of reviving it.

If an elephant weighs 2 tonnes and has four feet that's 2000/4 which is 500 kg on your foot, and an elephants foot might be 60cm wide that's 500/60 which is 8.3kg so per cm2 it's only 8.3kgs on your foot.
