You are losing a hand and foot regardless. So the question becomes, do you want a knee or elbow? In my mind, a knee is better, because prosthetic feet aren't that complicated. You could get a peg leg or something cool. But a prosthetic hand is complex and expensive. I guess you could attach a chainsaw there to be awesome, but that's very unlikely.
