I can live without the luxury of traveling to other countries, plenty of people live their whole lives happily within their home country. But I couldn't live comfortably without the nearly necessary convenience of a car to get anywhere nearby that you need to go, without having to worry about bus schedules, taxi prices, etc.

People aren't always on welfare because they want to be. Welfare doesn't make you a bad person.

Tongues are used to swallow and make over half of the letter sounds. Things can be blended so a toothless person can eat, even without dentures. You can still have whatever you want as long as it's made soft. Without your tongue you would never speak again.
